Base - Cumberland Apartments

we liked the cumberland street appartment,being clean ,well equipped ,modern,spacious and very convenient for the waterfront and city . we would use it again. There are some negative issues . Laterooms did not supply any information as to how and where the key to the appartment should be picked up and where we should check-in.Fortunately there was a very helpful cleaner and her staff at the appartment who saved the day .Late rooms also indicate parking on site.This was not case but luckily an NCP 24 hr car park was literally round the corner .The bathroom although very goog lacked a good light over the sink to shave by.The other irritations were the tv remote did not work and the kitchen sink did not have a plug.The hinge on a kitchen cupboard glass door was broken.But the kitchen was very well equipped otherwise. We would recomment this appartment .

II enjoyed my stay at the Cumberland apartments. The Location was fantastic, very central and the service I received was more than helpful. The office was only a short walk away from the apartment which I didn't mind as it meant I was able to view the new shops on the way.
The apartment was to the standard I expected and I would definitely stay here again

Good quality apartment which looked quite new. Good bedding and furnishing and fairly well equipped kitchen though we didn't use it. Parking limited - had to use local NCP car park but it was only a 5 minute walk. The presence of a lap-dancing bar directly opposite could be seen as a bonus by some but may put some people off. It didn't cause us any problems with noise etc. Overall, good value for money and would use again.

Although the office would be a little difficult to find without a Sat Nav, once we had picked up the keys we were pleasantly surprised by our apartment - Not only was it clean, it was spacious and very central to shopping & bars etc with loads more facilities than you would get from a hotel room (for the same price!!). Even though we faced a club opposite, we were not affected by the noise at all. We would definately book again with Base, as it is great for couples/groups. I am now considering Liverpool for my Hen Night...we had a great time thank you!!!

There was a nightclub just outside the apt , woken up at 0400. We also tried to contact the service Apt Manager at about 1900 to tell them of faults with the main window blind and that the remote for the TV didnt work. Glad it wasnt anything really important. Also the extra bedding were pushed into the wardrobe and made it difficult to hang clothes up. Also getting to your office to pick up and drop off the keys was a bit like hard work. Keeps you fit. Oh and finally the windows havent been cleaned for a long time
