Lovely clean and well furnished room with big plasma screen and keyboard to access free internet. Air conditioniing, free room safe, mini fridge, comfortable bed, bathroom well equipped though a little cramped, toilet behind the door etc, shower cubicle with 2 showers. Convenient location close to Gloucester Road tube and buses durect into central London, yet well insulated windows ensured it wasnt noisy. Continental breakfast included in room rate of £115, (compared to standard Premier Inn £96 no breakfast!) which consideriing is was a luxury room in a convenient location was excellent value for money.
Seen a few criticisms like dining room small, yeh buts its a small hotel, and they are making the maximum space of what premium space they do have but as as breakfast is between 7 to 10, you find your spot.
Free glass of champagne offered between 7 and 8 pm, didnt rush back for it but nice touch if you feel so inclined.
Overall best value hotel in London I have stayed in by far, yeh slightly bigger rooms would be nicer, but for the standards delivered you could easliy pay double, so am well satisfied and with definitely stay here again.

Went to London for a long weekend with my daughter. Impressed with the quality of the room for the money paid, although I believe we had one of the larger rooms. Very convenient for Gloucester Road Underground Station and local Waitrose, Tesco Local, Boots and some restaurants. Also well located for the South Kensington museums. Meal deal when we stayed for room service home made pizza with two bottles of beer for £10.00. Pizza was excellent. Free glass of champagne each evening was a welcome treat. The air conditioning worked effectively which makes a change for a British hotel room, and meant that we could leave the windows closed and keep the traffic noise outside. Breakfast was continental, but there was a reasonable choice. It was also good to have a clean bathrobe and slippers for both of us in the room The hotel does not, however do evening meals in a restaurant, and there is a limited choice of room service with only sandwiches available after 8.00pm

although I had indicated a twin bedded room on my request sheet the information had not reached the hotel. This presented a small problem which was sorted out but I was glad that i had my booking sheet with me. the hotel was full but they altered the bed after initial apathy the service improved and we were offered a drink.
No free glass of champagne and no turn down gift though!!

we spent two nights in this hotel as a family we had two rooms one double and one twin. The rooms were immaculate and bathrooms super. Our twim room only had a shower which was perfect as two teenagers occupied it. Whereby the double had a lovely bath, fully serviced with towels, robes and slippers. A little surprise each evening in the room. Breakfast included was continental with an option for cooked if wished, prices were very good. Only slight drawback was that the breakfast room is quite small but in keeping with this small extremely plesant hotel. The feeling of being well looked after will stay with us, staff were extremely courtious and friendly. Reception room was beautiful with plush velvet couches and comfortable enough to sit and relax - especially with the complimentary glass of Champagne each evening - Bliss! Congratulations to the Asbe hburn Hotel, we will certainly stay regularly and maybe not tell our friends!

Arrived on an early flight from Glasgow and attended at Ashburn at approximately 9am. the room wasnt ready however they did everything they could to accomodate me and had my room ready to check in at 11am. My only complaint about check in was i was laden down with bags and the concierge did not offer to take my luggage to the room for me.
The room was lovely, although on the small size; but beautifully decorated and felt luxurious. The air conditioning was also a great feature for a warm night in London. Only complaints about the room were the audio on the tv didnt work so I couldnt get access to any music. However a major problem was the shower - it was incomprehensible - too many levers, no indicators of on/off, power, heat etc and no instructions. I had to get someone from reception to come up to the room to get it to work as there was no hot water initially. After faffing about with it for about 5 mins or more, he eventually got the hot water running. I asked him how he managed it and he said he didnt know. I think that was unacceptable. the hotel should think of investing in straightforward mixer bath/shower or at least provide instructions on how to work it. but apart from that everything else, including the breakfast was very good and i would recommend it.
