The room was lovely (four poster bed) but smaller than i had expected even though it was called a 'deluxe room', we stayed in The Lord Milner room- not the best view, but clean and comfortable. Lovely receptionist but air con didn't work. was told it had only been put in one week ago and was due to be turned on next week (looked a bit older than a week old however)! |

I would just like to say this hotel was the best I have ever stayed in. Initially slightly nervous about going because its a very uppper-class looking place on the photo's and indeed this is true to real life, also with the place not being child friendly (no under 12's) I had preconceptions that it might be pretty stuck up. |

Excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. This unusual small hotel would be an all-round winner for us, except that the air-conditioning was not working in our room (the Lady Milner) on one of the hottest nights of the year. In turn this meant open windows and a noisier night than one would have expected. Also, the wireless broadband didn't reach as far as our room. If these issues could be fixed this would be where we'd always stay when visiting London. |

The breakfast at the Hotel although fairly expensive was quite substantial and was delivered to the room at the time requested. The hotel is small and has no restaurant or breakfast room. The parking is also a bit of a pain. Free parking outside if you can find a space between 10pm and 8.30am. The nearest multi-storey parking is 500m at nearly £40 per day. The hotel is very close to Victoria Station. I would not class the hotel as 5 Star - there are no facilities other than the ensuite room. The room I had was the Club Room which was in the basement with the window below street level and looking out to a fire escape. Overall the accommodation is no better than many 3 Star Hotels I have stayed in at double the price. |
