The room was clean as expected but the shower is the worst ever, the water is never that hot and there are hardly coming out when you select the hottest. The toilet had a bad bad smell as well. |

My husband and I were very disappointed with this guesthouse as it was not very clean. Our room was only a standard room that we booked but we were at least expecting it to be clean. The net curtains were a grey/black colour and around the corners of the room were filthy. The shared bathroom consisted of a toilet on its own which had toilet roll shoved around the frame of the door, there wasnt even a washhand basin to wash your hands and the showerroom next door was not even useable as it was full of damp, needless to say we were unable to use it so therefore we never had a shower for the three nights we stayed there. On arrival I asked one of the owners could I have a drop of milk for a cup of coffee as I dont like the milk that is supplied in the room and I was told to go next door to the shop as they didnt give anything out of the kitchen. Im sure it wouldnt of been to much bother to have given me some milk. We are not the kind of people to complain so we didnt complain at the time as we only slept there and had only one breakfast and that wasnt up to much either. We would definetly not recommend this guesthouse to anyone we know as we did not have an enjoyable time here. My husband and I very rarely go away anywhere for long weekends as we have six kids but we got the chance to have time away together, but we did like Blackpool but the guesthouse was a big disappoint...... |
