Villathena

The hotel is based in a central location right near the metro and main rail station, we stayed on the top floor in spacious accomodation, the hotel is set back from any major traffic, so a good nights sleep was always had, the beds were super huge and very comfortable. We loved our stay there and would tell our freinds to go there also.

Hotel is centrally located between a metro station and mainline train station. Hotel room quite small but very clean and modern.
If visiting Paris again I would definatly choose this hotel again.

Good location in an interesting part of Paris. Lots of bars and restaurants in vicinity. Hotel is stylish, some details take it a bit far so that practicality gives way to chic. Go for more expensive rather than standard room since size matters.

More of an apartment block than a hotel, room was clean, well appointed but restrictively small. Bathroom was very clean and modern but again difficult to even turn round in it, poorly designed - it was so small you bumped your head on the sink shelf when brushing your teeth! Staff were very friendly and helpful - minibar was welcome, as was the safe, bed was very comfortable but our double was two singles stuck together - common in France but not very 4 star! Area was OK but many vagrants reside at the end of Rue d'athens - a little disconcerting. For a little increase in cost I would stay somewhere more central next time with more of a hotel feel to it.

A great hotel with modern design throughout - ideal to use as a base for exploring Paris, as it's pretty easy to get anywhere by foot / metro. Remember to take a pair of earplugs to ensure a good night's sleep, otherwise you'll be woken up at 7.30 by the Paris dustmen ;-) Buffet-style breakfast was simple and good.
