City Park Boutique Hotel

the accomodation is nice, warm and tidy. they are very warm-hearted people
though we have problem finding that place at the first time, the hotel is just opposite the Alliance pub which is eye-catching and just few steps before you reach the bus stop, you cannot miss it. We have had a good time there. Worth a try!

Lucky I only wanted to get some sleep as the room was very small TV did not work and was very,very cold. Lets just say you learn from yourexperiences. Never again.

i can t explain,i got in, i paid for 4 nights, when i got into the ground floor room it was all dirty, the bathroom was sick, he went to get the towels and, when he gave me them i opened and were they "used"? he said not but the fact is that towels were hairy, when i opened the bed to confirm how it was, it was hairy too, i couldn t believe, nightmare, i just regret i had paid the 4 nights, i packed my things 15 minutes after arriving and went out. Is the worst (hotel 3 stars?) i have been at.

Plus points - hot water.
Minus points - no previous notice of poor facilities such as: no reading lamp, inadequate lighting (very low wattage), no telephone in room, no table or dressing table, no chair, no ensuite bathroom, communal bathroom on different floor , no kettle in room, huge pile of binbags (some ripped) immediately outside window, slugs on bedroom floor and fly in room, broken TV (cables had been cut), unfinished/damaged decor, inadequate dining facilities for number of guests; no dining staff, no fresh food (fruit was old and damaged).
Misleading entry on Laterooms website. Misleading booking confirmation which specified flatscreen TV (one wasn't, one did not work anyway) and made no mention of lack of bathroom facilities.
defective facilities: broken blind, missing wardrobe handle, non-functioning showerhead, no plug in washbasin, no bathmat

Good rate and value for money. Daily cleaning of toilets and rooms needs improvement. Need to change position of TV in room 7. Straineous to watch the TV.
