Welcome to the hotel that offers world of difference! Having taken over this hotel after working on the QE2 and the Queen Mary 2 for many years, our aim is to create a unique ambience the world over....a world cruise in one hotel! Guests can enjoy first class accommodation with the level of service and attention to detail one would expect from Cunard. The New World Hotel has a prime promenade location, just two minutes walk from the North Pier and five minutes walk from the town centre, Tower, Funny Girls, Winter Gardens and Blackpool North train and bus stations. We welcome families, couples, senior citizens, conference delegates and the business traveller. Together with our adjacent sister hotel we can cater for upto 56 guests, ideal for coach trips! The Hotel has 11 themed bedrooms, all are fully double glazed and centrally heated with colour TV’s and hospitality trays. Family, double and twin rooms are available. All rooms are designated non-smoking. Relax in the Old Worlde Golden Lion pub where you can sing to your heart's content at the karaoke, whilst enjoying a drink from our well stocked bar. Our range of bar snacks and traditional pub meals are always very popular. We are very proud of our '9 item' traditional English Breakfast, served in our stylish dining room with its crisp linen and napkins, where special dietary needs can be catered for, with advance notice please. A-La-Carte dinners can be arranged for 6 guests or more for an anniversary or that special birthday, perhaps. Although we do not have a dedicated car park, we will always assist you in finding a space nearby and there are 3 pay and display car parks at the end of the block. All same sex group bookings must designate a group leader who will sign a disclaimer and provide credit card details upon arrival at the hotel. This person is then responsible for the whole group for the duration of their stay.

the staff were friendly the food lovely, the rooms very small, not much room to get around, the on suite tiny had to squeeze in to get to toilet

stayed in the oriental room, it was very clean but the bathroom was extremely small. we only stayed for one noght though so we didn't mind. the was nicely decorated and very tasteful. the bed was very comfortable. overall very nice!

Ensuite bathroom was tiny, shower and toilet cramed into cupboard like space, we were shown bigger themed rooms which where more expensive the day we were leaving, but staff where really friendly and helpful.

hotel staff were very friendly and the owner Steve was a very nice chap. Rooms were clean but a bit on the small side but that made it feel cosy. breakfast was very nice.Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to my friends.
