Firstly, I would point out this is not a 4* Hotel as advertised on the website. The lobby is a bit dated and the bar in the corner of the ground floor does not serve alcohol drinks. In fact I doubt if it sells any drinks of any description. There is only one small lift up to the 5 floors. The rooms are on the small side with a tiny portable TV with no cable or satellite channels except CNN and BBC World news. The mini-bar prices in the fridge are on the steep side. The Terrace on the room was closed and there was no reason to hang around the hotel in the evening. On a more positive note I found the rates very reasonable and the service from the Staff (especially the house keeping) was very impressive. The Breakfast on the 5th floor was adequate. The location of the Hotel is key and is in a good spot with easy access to the Galata Bridge and a stones throw from the a Tram stop. Nice little family run restaurants are scatters around and to my shock were cheaper than the Backpacker Hostel district near the Blue Mosque. Overall its all about what you pay for. The proof of the pudding is I would go back so thumbs up.
