Family run, Visit Britain 4 star accredited fully renovated Regency guest accommodation with licensed bar, large dining room and residents parking. Strictly no smoking establishment. Check-in from 3-10pm. Also available Barton Cottage in Bourton on the Water. All rooms ensuite with tea/coffee making facilities and flat screen TV/DVD player with free DVD hire. Internet access free of charge via WiFi or use our guest laptop in reception. Just over a mile from Cheltenham on the A40, ideal for exploring the Cotswolds. No smoking establishment.

Cheltenham is one of Britain's finest Spa towns, set in a sheltered position between the rolling Cotswold Hills and the Severn Vale, it enjoys a mild and pleasant climate. Once a small Cotswold town, Cheltenham became famous as a Spa in the late 18th century. Most of the town centre lies within a conservation area of outstanding national importance. With its award-winning gardens, impressive range of stylish shops and restaurants, and its festivals of horse racing, music and literature, Cheltenham has a cosmopolitan ambience to beguile the most jaded spirit.

Road - Cheltenham is conventiently located on the M5 and Hilden Lodge is just over one mile from Cheltenham on the A40 Oxford Road. For race meets, you'll be glad to know you don't have to go through the town centre to travel from us to the race course. Free guest parking. Rail - Direct trains from Paddington take just over 2 hours, be sure to book tickets on thetrainline.com 3-5 days in advance for best prices. We are the opposite site of Cheltenham from the train station about 2.5 miles in total, a taxi costs between £5-8. Cheltenham - A wonderful Spa town with an abundance of shops, restaurants etc. Cheltenham is the ideal base for touring the Costwolds and you can leave you car and walk the Cotswolds from the Hilden Lodge (we literally are on the edge of the Cotswolds). We stayed at the hilden lodge for two nights.We had a lovely room and would def recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in that area.Not far from the city center also plenty of places to eat out.

excellent for my stay abigger person may find the en suite a little small .alovely place for business or leisure.nice comfortable bed and room . excellent value.plenty of nice places nearby to eat out . easy to go into cheltenham.

One of the better B & Bs we've stayed in. Room and ensuite were very small but adequate for a 1 night stay.No biscuits on Hopitality tray and no shower caps provided in bathroom although I understand I could have asked for one at reception.Hosts very friendly and helpful

i stayed, with a friend, overnight, at hilden lodge, whilst visiting the cheltenham literary festival. we both enjoyed our stay very much and are hoping to come again next year and bring along our reading group. the owners have thought of everything to provide a comfortable relaxing stay with a very warm welcome and a gorgeous breakfast. may i make one small suggestion, i do like hot milk with my coffee in the morning, especially with the quality of coffee you serve which is excellent. good luck for the future and thank you very much.
