Hotel was cold, tired and stuck in a time warp. Appreciate that new owners since December were trying to stay in business but the place was very tightly run. Breakfast was barely adequate and only served between 9.00 to 9.30, breakfast room was locked up untill 9.00. I found this unsatisfactory. |

Fantastic value for money, clean and comfortable rooms and a very friendly welcome. Breakfasts are very good with a huge selection of cereal, fruit, yoghurts, fruit juices, tea, coffee, toast and full English. The hotel is situated up a steep hill with lots of steps, but with the fantastic breakfasts and selection of eateries in Torquay we were glad of a bit of exercise. The owners Rick and Lorraine have some good ideas for anyone who is interested in coastal fishing, offering frozen storage facitities for fish caught. They also provided us with some very useful support for our hobby of speed boating and water skiing. Will definitley stay here again. |

The only reason I would not choose this hotel again is the location - it is so high up (nearly 300 steps) - too much of a climb for me; I only did it once! Lorraine & Rick were very welcoming and would do anything to make the stay as good as possible. The breakfasts were lovely - as much choice as a large hotel. |

The Hotel owners (Rick & Lorraine) were very welcoming and helpful. Our kids enjoyed the stay (as did we) and the breakfasts! |
