The Lugo is a lovely, friendly guest house. My son and I stayed for one night only while visiting the local university. The owner met us on arrival and offered us refreshments in the cosy residents lounge, there was a whole selection of newspapers and local information leaflets to look through along with the use of videos and books to loan during the stay. We had a twin bedded en-suite room with shower. The room along with the ensuite appeared to be very well planned for people with mobility issues, nice and spacious with seating in the very large shower and support rails alongside the wc. The room had a small seating area, tea and coffee facilities, a hairdryer and a flatscreen tv with combined dvd player. The Breakfast room was nicely set out with a very good choice of breakfast items and the waiting staff very polite and friendly. Parking is onsite which is a great bonus. The guest house is in a great position only a few minutes walk from a lovely beach and promenade in one direction the town in the other. On the whole, a lovely, exceptionally clean and friendly place, one I would definately recommend and would stay for an extended period next time! |
