The member of staff who was behind reception when we arrived late evening was perfunctory at best. He was busy texting on his mobile phone when we arrived and we found it difficult to atract his attention. Considering the age of the hotel we felt that the corridors could have been cleaner, however the room was spotless. The bathroom had an unpleasant smell. We didn't order a breakfast tray so cannot comment on the food quality. |

The room (101) was spacious, although fundamentally basic like a Travelodge. The free wired internet was excellent and the main reason for me chosing the hotel over another one. I wish I had brought my gym /swimming stuff as the excellent next door health club is free to use. |

a good travel lodge style hotel- carvery at the pub next door was superb value for £3.49 also bowling alley was good too. hotel lacks a breakfast bar- if this was added i feel it would be more friendly to business and the pleasure travellers |

Hotel itself is Ok but no resturant on the premises, there is a local pub that does a carvery, (very cheap) nearby though. Breakfast is a bit poor but ok for 1 night stay. |
