Very friendly and helpful owners. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Good breakfast too. Mountain forecast provided for walkers. Really recommend.

We have only ever stayed in hotels before so this was a new experience for us. With it being a detached house it was very much like sleeping in someones living room (we were in the downstairs room). The view from the back window was spoiled by the caravan and oil central heating tank. Our bathroom was small and the hot tap was just a trickle - a cold one at that! I didn't manage to get any hot water out of the tap in our two night stay! Breakfast was not as expected - we were not offered any of the alternatives listed on their own website i.e. kippers, porridge. The owners were friendly and helpful.
