Spectacular views of the bay. Bed was comfortable though the room was on the small side. Digital tv very welcome. Staff were friendly. Car park is long and narrow and one car was double parked. General decor slightly "run down" feel. |

Mum and I found the Hotel, very freindly, and all the staff were very helpfull. I understood the hotel was under refurbishment, so \i appreciated that some of the decor wasn,t to good. The views were beutifull, and it was central to all the outdoor amenities. The only wory I had when there was that there was not a window to get through in case of fire, and I thought that was compulsory, but maybe I,m wrong. other than that it was a lovely three days. |

When we were going up the stairs to our room, I had a bad feeling. The stairs and surrounds were really dirty, and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in days. When we got to our room we found the rubbish bin was still full, empty drinks bottle on the bedside table, the dirty towels from the previous client were on the floor in the bathroom, with no clean ones for us, no pillowcases on the pillows for our bed, big cobwebs in the corner of the room, and the feeling that it hadn't been dusted or hoovered. It was a really tired looking hotel that could have done with a complete refurb. It is a shame because the hotel is in a great location, with views overlooking Torbay. |
