Changed booking from single to double room but was very small with access to bed from one side only, appeared to still have both bookings despite my having confirmation of cancellation. Bedding and soft furnishings a bit sparse. Good food.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in the Baylis Hotel for one night and i would not hesitate in booking this hotel again ! I found the staff to be courtious, polite, friendly and very helpful. The room i was allocated was of a good size, clean, quiet, modern and had all the facilities provided by much more expensive hotels.......well done to the owners of this fine hotel. If you're looking for a budget hotel without having to compromise on cleanliness and quality, then book a room at the Baylis ! Ooh.......and there's also free on-site secure car parking too (charged at up to £14 per night by some hotels close by)

The room was very small. Wedding receptions were being held at the hotel and the noise carried on until 5am! The reception staff were not very helpful and it took an eternity to pay the bill. Certainly wouldnt stay again.

Very friendly hotel. Room very small, as was bathroom. Toiletries amounted to one small satchet of shower gel. No shower cap......
Very limited room service menu but the food was fantastic !

Excellent Indian food. Hotel staff were very helpful and room was spacious and clean. A few minor things such as some of the lights not working but nothing to spoil the experience. The only downside is that the hotel is in the middle of a large council estate and I would not want to venture outside the hotels grounds at night.
