This is the second time we have stayed here, a lot of care is taken with the detail of customer care and consideration is given to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms in the new annex are excellent quality and some are dog friendly. One of the best cooked breakfasts we've had. The residents lounge is a bonus, nice to relax in at the end of the day with a log fire and the option of a self serve drink from their honesty system. A quirky hotel which is excellent value for the money paid. |

Although the room we stayed in was very nice it was a bit dusty in parts. The catering in the Guest House was very poor. Greasy breakfast and poor quality food. On the Sunday, although we had signed up for 8am breakfast because we needed to leave early when we arrived at the dining room none of the tables were set and it was 8.30am before we started our breakfast. In the middle of breakfast a very loud argument began in the kitchen which was very embarrassing and did not help. Selection for the continental breakfast was very poor. |
