Gulec is a peaceful hotel with fine hospitality and many returning guests. From the hotel, you can easily reach the bus station, castle, bazaar or local beach. Alternatively, the hotel is surrounded by dining opportunities, with Bodrum’s nightlife only a 5-minute walk away.

Regarding the directions, you should find the Cevat Sakir Street. When you enter Bodrum town, ask someone where Cevat Sakir St. is. Go straight along Cevat Sakir Street and take a left to Ataturk Street. When you see the modern white mosque on the right, in the corner at the crossroads, turn left to Uckuyular Street. Gulec will appear on the right as the third hotel

This hotel is best described as cheap and extremely cheerful. It's very good value for money and is located very near to Bodrum's popular tourist areas. The rooms are basic. However the best aspect is that the family that owns/runs it are absolutely charming. They couldn't make their guests more welcome, and due to their familiarity and friendliness - on first name terms with all guests - there is a fantastic atmosphere with all the guests chatting and sharing experiences of their holidays. I was there only 3 nights (on business) but the owner made me promise to come back with my family and have tea with them next time I visit. And you know what? I will!
