Food was good but expensive. Dinner at £52 or £62 with no possibility of just taking one or two courses unless one ate in the (small) bar. |

We only stayed one night but wished we had stayed longer, the hotel is set in beautiful grounds. We ate in the bar and the food was really nice and breakfast was excellent. The staff couldn't do enough. We might have to go back!!! |

Having had a superb stay in August this year, I decided to treat my wife to a night at Swinton Park for her birthday. A most enjoyable stay was spoilt by the room being to hot and dry, despite having the windows open as far as possible and checking the radiators were off, we had very little sleep. Because of the lack of sleep and or the copious amounts of water we both needed to drink it spoilt our stay. We both returned home and my wife fell asleep for most of the afternoon. As a wheelchair user following a spinal injury we are used to waking once a night to alter my position in bed but we are not used to being awake most of the night |

Swinton Park is without doubt one of the best country hotels in the U.K. Guest & their needs come 1st very time. Nothing is left to chance. Room size - huge, with elaborate bathrooms filled to abundance with highly desirable toiletries, from one of London's best perfumeries. Wonderful interior design, although elaborate, it is without pretence. Almost like staying with friends- if you are lucky enough to have such friends; with such a magnificent country retreat. |

Very comfortable and well appointed room with a beautiful view, nice extra touches like the decanters of spirits. Bathroom superb. Service outstanding in all areas of the hotel. Food in the restaurant was very good but there was quite a limited choice of menu and it was not quite as special as I had anticipated considering the 3 red rosettes and the price. However I would definately stay here again. |
