The customer service is excellent at this hotel.... in the reception and restaurant. When I stayed it was full of older people so good to stay here if you want to avoid those hen and stag parties. Ok the rooms are a bit dated but does that not have a certain charm????! The reception area and bar have been refurbed. The seafront is quite close by and it's good to have free and plentiful car parking at the hotel. I dined in the restaurant in the evening and the quality of food was not too good. BUT the waiting staff were so lovely I feel bad criticising it. Apart from that it's a nice hotel and good for the money compared to other hotels in close proximity. |

The rooms were discusting. My room actually had a hole in the window, with a huge split in the pain - definitely not safe. I don't think that the rooms had been re-furbed since opening & they really did make my skin crawl. I couldn't bring myself to use the wash facilities. Although the staff were very friendly, I definitely think that £80 a room for a night was far, far over priced. I would reccommend a B&B in Bournemouth as far better value for money. |

Somewhere in this building there is a half-way decent hotel trying to get out. At the present time it is tired, rather tatty and poorly staffed - in the reception area at least. Breakfast service was highly variable, good one day and then slow the next. Members of a coach tour staying at this hotel were, on occasions, waiting over half an hour to be served. It appears to be trading on its location which is close to the pier and the central gardens. Internal decor is dated and tired. There are at least two rooms that cannot be reached using the lift and its disability access is poor. I would do quite a lot to avaoid staying here again. Poor value for money. |

Although the Hotel is a bit down at heel, the quality of the friendly service, the breakfasts and the room cleaning more than compensate, making it pleasant to stay at. |
