Food in the bar was really good. Used the sat nav to find the hotel. The room was brill. Large, extrememly comfortable and quiet.
First class fixtures and fittings. Friendly staff.

We stayed in room 226 which was part of the newly extended area and it was very modern with a lovely ensuite and flat screen tv. Very well presented with everything you need such as iron, ironing board, fan and coffee and teas tray. The bed was extrememly confy and had big deep pillows! Very private and quiet. We also used the pool and jacuzzi which was a nice treat and the staff were very nice all round.
I would reccommend staying here BUT ensist on being put in the newly build side as the original front part of the hotel did look dated and may not be as nice.
We had breakfast which was a buffet style and very tasty with freshly cooked meats, eggs and toast available aswell as all the usual cereals, teas and coffe.
The surroundings are very beautiful and on a sunny day its a veru nice place to be. Definately good value for money at £60 for both of us on a Saturday.

hotel was a little bit off the beaten path but with nice facilities and good rooms. food was nice and well presented. the main restaurant was a little expensive but good quality.
