There was little or no choice for Vegetarians. Only one restaurant open, when it indicated otherwise (3) although this could be a result of the time of year (mid-May).
The Hotel and grounds were beautiful the staff very warm, helpful and friendly, we would recommend this hotel and location & stay again.

Great hotel, great service, excellent food, friendly helpful staff, immediate booking and access to Mijas Golf. Has to be one of the finest hotels on the Costa Del Sol

Hotel is situated in what seems to be an industrial estate but, once found, the approach is very promising. Lush golf courses and good quality outdoor swimming pools are not sufficient to hide the fact that this tired hotel has seen better days. Threadbare carpets and weedy terraces should not be classified as five star. As for the gym, it resembled a scout hut in the garden and was poorly equipped and grubby. In its day I'm sure it was top quality but in my opinion it is overdue a complete refurbishment. Could not however fault the staff who were very polite and helpful.

for a golfing break it is excellent but not ideal for a quiet break. very good for families but possibly a little expensive, especially food and drinks. the restaurant is not open as an a la carte on friday/saturday but runs a bbq with no menu as such and has live entertainment which might possibly put some clients off. if you have a room over looking the pool, where the live entertainment takes place, it is not possible to sit and relax on your balcony without hearing the music.
the mini-bar is expensive and the restaurants generally over priced which encourages clients to look elsewhere for food. with a more realistic and sensible pricing policy perhaps they could encourage clients to eat in house. the hotel has excellent facilities but it is looking rather "tired" and is perhaps ready for a re-vamp. for a quiet break it is too big and busy but the overall service is very good with towels provided along with sun beds, room service is good and the staff are very friendly, efficient and helpful.
for a golfing break excellent but for a family holiday it could work out expensive.
