Our room was quiet though.
Breakfast - good choice for continental.

The staff were friendly and helpful on arrival and departure. It would have been nice to have some information in the room about the hotel, it's workings and the surrounding area with transport guidance.
My room and the hotel itself was clean and tidy however the bathrooms albeit recently refurbished were of a poor finishing standard and mold had gathered in the shower cubicle.
For a west 1 hotel I thought the price was reflected in the standard and would recommend other travellers to use the hotel.
The breakfast was poor in comparison to the hotel. Cheese slices and processed ham are not what I am used to for breakfast. The dining room was deathly quiet and rather embarrassing so I chose not to attend the second morning.
Overall I had a pleasant experience and would stay again and recommend to others who want good basic quality with cleanliness and friendliness but not luxury.

Return visit after lengthy absence. Very helpful staff and although rooms are variable they are exceptional value, bright and clean and reasonably quite for area, which is well sited for truly central London, walking distance to Baker St, Oxford St etc .

bathroom had stong cigarette odor. A/C was not functioning
