Welcome to Hazelcott B&B. Awarded the highly prized 4 Yellow stars, Highly Commended by the AA,
Carole and Nigel welcome you to the beauty and peace of Dartmoor.
All of our rooms are en suite with superb views of Dartmoor.
We also have a guest lounge with stunning views and the "safari Bar", which opens onto the patio and garden. We have a 24 hour residential licence and one of the most extensive wine lists in the area, plus the famous, locally produced "Jail Ale".
We serve an award winning breakfast and offer a range of light suppers or three course meals, enhanced by a selection of fine wines from our bar.
We were runners up in the AA Landlady of the year awards 2005 and this year we have been awarded 4 Stars, Highly commended, from the AA, making us one of the top 10% in the UK.
Our aim is to minimise the environmental impact of our B&B and our guests and to this end we have the Dartmoor National Park Charter for Sustainable Tourism and a Silver award from the Green Tourism Business Scheme ,which ensures that we use the best of local produce in the preparation of our delicious meals.
All of our rooms meet the exacting standards of the AA and have double aspect views over the beautiful Dartmoor scenary, but if you want that extra special experience try our Luxury Haytor Suite which has an emperor sized bed, a louge/library with reclining leather chairs, colour tv/video and mini fridge. The Haytor bathroom has a spa bath, seperate shower, candles, oils and robes.
In July we will offer a hot tub, thatched summer house and BBQ for al fresco entertainment.

This was in a very secluded location and would be difficult to find at night but was very comfortable and well-appointed. An additional charge of £5 per night was made for our dog.

We had a lovely stay here (in the Haytor suite). The room was excellent - lovely bed, handy sitting room/library with great selection of books and my wife loved the spa bath. Breakfast was excellent and location was good but, as others have said, it can be tough to find and the roads into Manaton are extemely narrow with hedges galore to scratch paintwork. This will not stop us going back. The local pub is about 20 minutes walk and serves good beer and food.

hazelcott B & B was among the best we have ever stayed in - hidden down a narrow country lane, but well worth the effort to get there. Directions on website quite easy to follow and accurate. Quality of room, breakfast, atmosphere, welcome all excellent. Hopefully, we will return.

Took a little bit of finding, but was worth it. Lovely location, views, very peaceful, nice cats, great food, very nice people. I would definitely recommend this B & B to anyone else. The library in the Haytor suite is great, and has everything from philosophy to thrillers.

Very friendly and relaxed, nothing too much trouble. Very good breakfast. Lovely views from the bedroom. Narrow road to B & B need to be careful when driving, especially reversing out of parking area.
