This hotel served the best evening meal that I have had in any hotel for a very long timr. Superb! Our room was a very large double at the front of the house which was really nice, the decor stunning. Would definately go there again. |

I may just have got lucky, but the room I was assigned was recently and tastfully refurbished to a good standard. It was also spacious. The staff friendly and as mentioned elsewhere the Indian directly next door is well worth a visit for your evening meal! |

This place is a bit of a gem - I stay here once a month on business and now wouldn't go anywhere else. The hotel has recently been refurbished to a high standard, including now the car park which is smoothly tarmacced with marked spaces. The rooms are tastefully decorated, some with flat panel TV screens, and there is internet access in all the rooms. From November they've started doing bar food - I had some at my last visit and it was excellent and good value. I understand the restaurant is opening soon (may be by now) and I will certainly be trying that out. Staff are friendly and courteous. In fact, the only black mark I could find is that in my view the toiletries in the bathroom are cheap and nasty in fiddly sachets - much better and economical to have squeezy bottles on the wall in my opinion. I bring my own shower gel etc. so not really a problem. Overall, I couldn't recommend this place more highly, you won't be disappointed. |
