Great hotel and we really enjoyed staying there. The hotel across the road is excellent and you can do a pub crawl of the whole village with only a 20 metre walk. |

The hotel is quite a way off the beaten track but set in beautiful rural surroundings and well worth the trip. The staff and locals alike were very friendly and welcoming. The bar was excellent and food in the restaurant was very good but not exceptional. Excellent breakfast but £12.50 pp is a bit steep if you have to pay for it separately. The Hand is very good value for money at Laterooms prices of £50 B&B for 2 people sharing but somewhat overpriced at £100 for the same deal if booked directly. |
