Really enjoyed our night at this interesting and comfortable hotel. Food in restaurant was excellent and the service was exemplary. The hotel retains many features of its previous history as an eye hospital which gave it an unique and individual feel. Easy walking distance to quayside and cathedral areas, short taxi ride to railway station. Staff friendly and helpful. |

An interesting place to stay, very convenient for city centre, cathedral etc. We were slightly disappointed that there was no hotel bar open on a Sunday evening, but it was a minor inconvenience, and they do serve drinks in the lounge, but a serious drinker needs a bar!. Room was lovely, but to reach wardrobe hanging rails you need to stand on a box unless you are seven fooot tall. Overall, quirky but great. |
