I had a wonderful stay at Applegarth. It is a beautiful old building, only a short walk from the railway station, and my room was a delight. The food was delicious, and everyone there so very friendly. |

Lovely hotel. Obviously recently refurbished. Nice classic decor without being stuffy. Staff all very helpful. Delicious food in the Restaurant. Room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is small enough to get to know the staff but large enough to offer more than a guest house. Overall a great place to stay to explore the hills. Great find! |
