Exceptionally good B & B within 2 minutes walk of Windermere town centre. Ideal base for Lakeland area. Owners Philip & Mary were excellent hosts, very warm and friendly with a good sense of humour! Our room was bright and spacious with large comfy bed and towels in en suite were changed daily. One thing to remember - don't eat out too late at night or you will never do justice to Philip's scrumptious breakfasts which were truly delicious using fresh local produce. All in all a really enjoyable stay. |
