London Lodge is a town house hotel, sumptuous in its furnishings, attentive in its service and convenient in its location. It is the "home from home" that restores its guests at the end of a busy business day or at the end of an exhausting exploration of shops, museums and galleries. How comforting then to be able to relax, cossetted by friendly, caring staff in truly comfortable surroundings.
Although London Lodge is in Kensington, poised between three tube stations and just a few minutes walk from famous shopping streets and major attractions, it is sited in a quiet backwater of elegant Victorian terraces. So a peacefully restorative atmosphere exists both inside and around the hotel.
Bedrooms have air-conditioning, some have whirlpool baths,all have the high level of facilities that is nowadays expected. But this modernity is not intrusive ......... the luxury of the rich furnishings wraps you up in a cmforting cocoon of well-being.
Although visitors often dine out, such is the ambience and the intriguing menu of our restaurant, "Stephanie's", that many of our guests enjoy dinner in-house. The cooked-to-order breakfast is not to be missed either.
All in all, the London Lodge is the sort of haven that visitors seek in a city, but have difficulty finding .......... it is indeed quite special. And if you come by road, there is even a private car park.

This hotel was outstanding due mostly to the very friendly and helpful staff. It had a very homey feel to it. The room was average size but for my 2 children and myself it was quite comfortable and well-equipped. I found the location excellent--close to the convenience of Earl's Court (with excellent tube access) but in a very typical, charming neighborhood. Our greatest discovery was Holland Park a short walk away.
We had a wonderful experience and can't wait to return to London and the London Lodge.

The staff were really friendly - however I was given a room behind reception, which was dusty, smelly, noisy and had no opening windows. It was also next to the ladies toilet and i was kept awake all night by creaking, flushing and chatting at reception. Breakfast was good!

Room was very small, single bed, not great for £96 per night.
Wifi not included in the price which I would expect for that price.
