The Oxfordshire Inn is set in it own grounds a few minutes drive from the romantic city of Oxford and on the doorstep of Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds. Here at The Oxfordshire Inn our friendly and accommodating staff are looking forward to making your stay with us as comfortable, pleasant and relaxed as possible. All our bedrooms are newly constructed within a converted 16th century barn. All are en-suite with a selection of double, twin and family rooms. We also have our luxury four-poster suite, complete with Jacuzzi room All rooms are en-suite and decorated to a high standard with tiled bathrooms.The first floor bedrooms feature the original ceiling of the barn complete with oak beams Why not surprise your partner by taking a relaxing break in one our luxury four poster rooms. When I arrived, the hotel didnt know about my visit but managed to find me a room.
The allocated room had a TV but no aerial lead. I asked for one and was told they would contact me in 10 minutes-they didnt! I rang the bar (reception wasnt answering) after 45 mins and was told no lead was available, so I asked to change rooms, which was honoured. The second room had a TV aerial lead, but the mains powere cord wasnt long enough to reach the socket. I moved the TV so the cord would reach and got a picture - but it was a poor picture and there was no remote to tune in.
Overall the hotel would have been good value but was let down by poor maintenance/support.

Top hotel excellent value for money, bit difficult to find but well worth worth it. food ws good quality pub food and staff excellent. My first choice of hotel in the Oxford area.
