Great location for the NIA and Brindley place bars/resturants etc. Also good for Broad Street. However, no hairdryer in the room and the mini bar was too expensive. Breakfast at £12.50 each was not competitive given good resturants open literally just outside. OK though. |

This was my first stay in a City Inn and would definately stay in one again if the price was right. A colleague and I managed to secure a late booking through Late Rooms and we were both impressed with the Room and facilities, although I would have to say would not have stayed here at the normal booking price as on the down side there was no parking available at the Hotel and only a £3 discount off overnight parking in the nearby NCP meant the cost of the overnight stay started to become expensive as drinks and Meals were also a tad on the high side however, as the Hotel is in the centre of Birmingham, a quick stroll and we managed to find somewhere a bit more to our liking and budget. |

The room was great. Though small, it was organised well and appeared larger. I stayed with my teenage daughter and we had ample room. She loved the iMAC in the room. Breakfast was excellent, though not cheap. The staff was the only disappointment. They regardede guests arriving at their desks as an intrusion to phone conversations and their iMAC screens. Also, the hotel is NOT in the centre of Birmingham, but the busses were frequent and cheap at £3-00 a day card. Taxis into town were £5-7. I would definitely stay again rather than pay over £100 to stay closer to the city. |
