As a family of four, we were horrified to discover upon our arrival that there was a rave taking place next door to the hotel. We had to fight through drunken teenagers to get to the hotel, walking through groups of people smoking and with obscene language. We were informed by a police officer that 10,000 people were expected. The hotel entrance and bar area was packed full of what I believed to be underage drinkers. As it was festival time, we knew we would be unlikely to get accommodation elsewhere so decided to stay. Although the music was not invasive, the people shouting outside our window with obscene language and the people running up and down the corridor at 4am did not lead to a pleasant stay. The hotel should not take bookings from families when there is a rave next door - we were disappointed that we were not advised at the time - and concerned that the queue of 10,000 was outside our window. |

Pleasantly surpized with this Hotel - staff very friendly, rooms extremely clean. Their restaurant for dinner was really superb - not the normal airport type restaurant. Can be hard to find as right on runway - but there are signs posted for direction. |

The room was small, drab and a fairly misearble place to be but I could put up with this as long as I can have a decent shower. Alas, the shower was the worst thing of all - barely more than a dribble. The resturant was however excellent - but not good enough to justify another visit. My 118 pounds will be going elsewhere next time I need to stay at Edinburgh airport. |

Rooms very small but reasonably clean. I have stayed in a lot bigger and better places for £92.00. Food reasonable but well overpriced. |
