The room and food were acceptable. Did not like the "hidden charges" for car parking and internet access. Far too many young and noisy children for us though the childrens facilities were good. Would suit a young family but we would not stay again. |

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The location is very good for York with the open top bus stopping on the road outside the hotel and the Wall being only a few minutes walk. All of the staff were very child friendly and our children loved the wii in the lounge, a fantastic touch. We used the pool but were surprised by the changing facilities (2 cubicles on side of the pool without any showers or lockers) but this did not affect our childrens love of the pool. The children getting cuddly toys on arrival was also a really lovely touch. Next time we visit York we will definately be staying here again. |
