Before leaving I asked for further advice as to the value of signing up to the dinners club for myself given that I would only likely eat in the restaurant on overnight stays and would potentially be in reciept of a discount on the full cost Your receptionist agreed to further clarify with the duty manager and let me know I have recieved no information which is disapointing I advised previosly of the need to provide a stool in the bathroom for your less able gusts in my case walking difficulty this does not seem to have been considered or indeed progressed these stools are available in a folding design from house of bath

Given we only paid £59 per night B&B this wasn't a bad deal, however had we paid more than this I think we would have been disappointed. The room we were allocated was fine, although a number of lightbulbs were not working when we arrived. We complained to reception and were offered a different room but chose to stay in our current room as long as the bulbs could be changed. Unfortunately by the time we left (2 days later) no-one had been to change the bulbs!!
One other issue was the breakfast. We were lucky and managed to get a table, although we noticed a number of other people outside who had been told to wait, although there were plenty of empty tables!! I ordered a full english breakfast, but this arrived whilst I was eating a bowl of cereal. Distratcted by this I also didn't notice that the breakfast had obviously been left under a heater (hence why it was so quick), as a result of which it was only luke warm and dried up... I thought of complaining, but given the staff (and there were plenty of them) didn't seem to know what was going on and were very disorganised I didn't think it was worth the effort.
Overall though for the money the hotel is reasonable value, simply don't expect to receive the highest standard of service and it's fine!

We ordered from the lounge menu and ate on the comfy sofa in the "library". Food very good.
Room very comfortable - huge bed! - but rather warm. We were on the ground floor so couldn't have the windows wide open.
The laterooms price made this very good value, including a good, substantial breakfast.

Have stayed here a number of times on Spa Packages. With the exception of one unfortunate incident regarding the bill (billed for items not taken) I would reccomend this hotel as the spa treatments, rooms quality and food is excellent and outstanding value for the packages they offer.
