Hotel is a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station and a further 4 stops or 10 mins to Catalunya/top of Las Ramblas. Is also about 35-40 minute walk downhill to the same place so good location. Room was large, bright and clean. Free wireless internet on each floor makes it perfect for laptop users. Free breakfast was good with a good choice. Reception staff spoke much better English than I have come across in other Hotels and were willing to speak English if you wish. Price although discounted through late Rooms was not particularly great value although all hotels in Barcelona are expensive. There are 2 supermarkets, KFC, McDonalds and several Cafes serving fresh food and a couple of nightclubs within a 5 minute walk and a pizza place - 'Boston Pizza' about 40 metres from the Hotel. The bath in the bathroom was very short (2/3 length of a standard english one) as seems to be prevalent in Barcelona so not very good for a proper Bath but the shower over the bath was fine. Would stay there again and recommend to anyone.
