.A family run hotel, the Ullswater is situated close to Bournemouth's lovely beaches, which are only 150 yards walk away; yet within a short walk of the Town Centre, Theatres, Bournemouth International Centre ( BIC) and Shops. The Ullswater offers a high degree of comfort with all rooms en-suite, in tasteful surroundings with an emphasis on good food and personal service, especially in our lounge and Bar.
Please note :The Hotel adopts a minimum stay policy of two nightsd at weekends. NO SINGLE SEX PARTIES OR HEN AND STAG GROUPS
We pride ourselves on the number of repeat guests and also welcome any new visitors openly!
We strongly suggest you try our restaurant, as we have excellent chefs here at the Ullswater. Dinner is available from 7.00pm and consists of a 4 course meal with a choice of starter main course and deserts, which are all homemade.
Entertainment is provided regularly and we often have special offers for Turkey Tinsel, Christmas, New Year and Easter as well as Murder Mystery week-ends.

hotel was ok but parking was a very very big problem and would give me 2nd thoughts in booking again, part from that i had an enjoyable stay.

A good value place to stay and a fantastic location for Bournemouth sea front and town centres. The staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms were spacious and clean. My only concern is that I was about 40 years younger than the average resident and the décor somewhat reflected this. Great if you like floral friezes, net curtains and old-fashioned blankets! Not so good if you're younger than 65! One slight irritation was that they never issued a 'do not disturb' sign so we were endlessly being woken up by the over-eager chambermaids... oh and the bar was like something out of a time-warp and should be avoided by any discerning drinker (one of the hottest days of the year yet mixers served at room temperature and there was no sign of any ice!).

A good value hotel. I was part of a stag party that were staying at another hotel. It was great value for £40 B&B. The Room was at the top but still spacious and en-suite. The breakfast was great too (and needed) although it was a struggle to make the 8.30-9.30 slot.

The hotel was small friendly and the evening meal was great, the only slight downside for a business user was that breakfast is served from 8.30 -9.30 so I had to miss it. My room was clean but extremely hot with no fan or aircon. I would stay here again the staff were very friendly and professional.
