Go through Beckford, and after passing a caravan sales forecourt on your left, look out for a turning to Dumbleton village on the right. Follow this road into the village and keep going until you reach St. Peter's Church on the right. The gates to the Hall are on the right just after the church.FROM M40: Take the A40 to Burford, then A424 to Broadway which joins the A44 into Evesham. At the roundabout joining the Evesham Bypass, turn left and continue along the Bypass until you reach the final roundabout where you turn left towards Cheltenham and Tewkesbury on the A46. Continue along this road past a left turn for Sedgeberrow on your left and past a petrol garage on your left. About 1 mile from the garage is a right turn to Grafton, and immediately past this is the left turn to Dumbleton Village. Overall an impressive hotel from the outside with a nice rural feel to the grounds and surrounding countryside. Being really picky, I felt the ambiance in the restaurant could be improved. The lighting needs to be subdued a little while the modern paintings hanging at present do not fit in with the overall period feel of the property. |
