Difficult to answer as all services were not on offer the night we stayed (bar, food, room services, etc). General cleanliness was okay but the toilet was not spotless, underseat was yellowish and it moved about when used, and there was no shower. Room was unusual and elegantly furnished but looked jaded. Breakfast was okay (bacon tough and dry) I expected better as the place was meant to be noted for its food, and let's face it breakfast is easy yet, though there was only a few people there, it was nothing special, service at beakfast was excellent. Difficult to say if I would stay there again or recommend it, as it was dreadful weather, and the hotel felt like it was closed down, so little could be judged! It could be nice! |

Room was in urgent need of re-decoration. Bathroom was grubby. stair rods on main staircase were insecure. Electrical appliances in room were PAT tested in 2006. Not a pleasant stay and extremely overpriced. |
