30 Pavilion Road, situated in the heart of Knightsbridge, has charm and character. Originally an old pumping station, it has been transformed into a tasteful guest house with a rooftop garden. There is a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff with a high level of personal and attentive service. It is perfect for people seeking an alternative to large hotel chains. Privately owned by the Searcys Catering Company, who manage several restaurants in London and provide banquets, weddings and business functions in this, their London townhouse. For the convenience of those attending such events, they have converted the upstairs rooms into 10 charming country house style bedrooms which all have wi-fi coverage. A peaceful haven in the bustle of London and yet conveniently located for Knightsbridge, Hyde Park, museums and the theatre district. There is no restaurant but a 24 hour room service.

Knightsbridge Tube Station, right out of Sloane Street. Exit first right into Basil Street then next left into Pavilion Road. The hotel is 150m on the right. Upon arrival at 30 Pavilion Road please come to the back door marked 'Searcy's Roof Garden Rooms' (on the corner of Rysbrack Street). This entrance conceals the lift which will take you to the Office/Reception. To the right of the door there is a white button marked 'call lift'. When pressed it will light and the lift will descend to the ground floor. To check that it has arrived look through the spy hole. To gain entrance press the brass button marked 'Reception'. This is an intercom system and we will then open the door, please come to the third floor to register and to be shown to your room.

Those backstreets around thehotel are not trhe easiets to navigate but its hard to blame the hotle for that - take a map or A to Z - The hotel itself is great very good quality at thius price - coffee delivered to your room on arrival and a very good breakfast in room as well. Staff were extremely helpful both at check in and check out. I stayed in Room 12 on the third floor - good size witrh large and comfortable double bed Very much recommeneded in this price range

very friendly and helpful, free wi-fi, good breakfast (can be taken on the terrace in good weather, quiet location just behind harrods, very rich neighbourhood

Really nice, very big, quiet room. Very comfortable bed, which combined with the peace (remarkable for just a few yards from Sloane St & Hans Crescent) meant a very good night's sleep. Free wifi. Nice bathroom. Some minor decoration issues in the bathroom, but nothing compromising cleanliness and hygiene which were perfect. The only real criticism would be that TV reception is very poor and limited to the 5 terrestrial channels.
