Salford Hall Hotel is a romantic Grade I listed Manor House between Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon, the rolling Cotswolds and the Vale of Evesham. The period charm is doubly appealing when combined with modern comforts, gracious furnishings, delicious food and an extensive range of fine wines. Guests may relax in the conservatory lounge or on the sunny terrace within the walled flower garden. Facilities include snooker, a sauna and a solarium. Special weekends are arranged for hot-air ballooning, horseracing, touring the Cotswolds, discovering Shakespeare and murder mysteries. The hotel is an excellent venue for conferences and weddings.

What a treat this hotel was. I travel alot in the course of my job and rarely stay in such impressive surrondings with such friendly staff - who remembered my name and used it along with that of my colleague. (despite busily preparing for a wedding the next day)
The hotel managed to strike a balance between clean modern fittings, whilst paying some regard to the age of the beautiful building it was housed in. I would thoroughly recommend it and commend the breakfast to boot - Thank you to all at Salford Hall for a memorable stay!

Excellent hotel; beautiful building with real character; friendly staff; lovely room (pity the TV remote was missing but was offered a room change). The only downside was the errors on the bill (+£4 on a bottle of wine and +£5 on one of the two meals). This was corrected without fuss when I pointed out the errors.
