We opted for a larger room with a sea view, glad we did, plenty of space, lovely and clean and a great view of the bay. Hotel is situated in a quiet road just a short walk from the bay/village centre with easy access out to the main road to explore further afield. Evening meals are good but remember no evening meal on a Monday or Tuesday, we'd recommend the White Heron B&B for reasonably priced good food just a 10 minute walk through the village and up the hill. |

This hotel is supremely well run. The staff go out of their way to look after your every need and nothing is too much trouble. We enjoyed our stay immensely. We booked a last minute deal and so we were entirely happy with our room which was spacious and clean, and did not have a sea view. With less than a five minute work to the beach, we were delighted with the location. The beach got very busy with surfer's and surf school, but we only had to walk a little further to find some delightfully secluded spots. There were no places to eat in Polzeath, but enough places around the area within a short drive time to sample the local seafood. This meant that we did not eat at the hotel restaurant. Breakfasts were very well catered for and you could have anything that you wanted. Our last minute booking was a great deal, and the family run business was most welcoming and friendly. All in all great little hotel. |
