Crowne Plaza Chester is ideally placed for the leisure traveller. Chester is home to a famous racecourse, Roman ruins, historical architecture, bustling shops and one of the best zoos in the country. There are some exceptional award winning attractions within 5 miles of the hotel, Chester Zoo, Blue Planet Aquarium. There is a vast range of shopping available, the ancient two-tier Rows shops in the heart of Chester and the Grosvenor Shopping Centre where national shops and specialist shops are located. The hotel use offsite parking when their own car park is full and charge guests £7.50 per day as they say that is what they get charged by the car park management company.
Parking is free after 3pm until 7am and then costs £3.70 for 2 hours. If you're on business and up early, it would pay to use the pay and display in the car park rather than pay the hotel directly

The hotel is noisy, the room walls are thin and you can hear doors banging all day and night, which you don’t expect from a 4* hotel. However the hotel is in a excellent location for sight seeing in Chester.

We had a great time. On our arrival we were upgraded to an executive room which was lovely. The staff were very helpful, the hotel was quiet (even though judging by the number of people having breakfast it was clearly well occupied), and the hotel parking was easy and very well priced - try finding 24 hour secure parking in Chester for £7.50!
