Fantastic in every way. Beautiful house in a great location with an amazing garden. The perfect weather helped but even so we will return. Can honestly say that this is one of the most attractive hotels we have been in.

This was a charming hotel. The room was nice and bright although the decor was a little tired it had been decorated to a high standard initially. The balcony leading from the bedroom was lovely and looked out onto the most beautiful gardens and landscape. It was so tranquil and peaceful there. An ideal place to get away from it all. The gardens were beautiful and we were able to walk around them and the river. The bathroom actually seemed to be bigger than the bedroom and was very nice. the only problem was that the water was far too hot and we couldnt adjust it to have a shower. We mentioned it to the staff as we were leaving so hopefully this problem has been rectified now.
The breakfast was gorgeous ! we were the only people in the dining room and there was a continental breakfast available with plenty of choices of juice , pain au chocolate, cereals, croissants, spoilt for choice ! the cooked breakfast was delicious and was served by a very friendly and accomodating member of staff. I enjoyed the breakfast and the breakfast service most of all and it was a lovely end to a lovely stay.
I would definately recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

I booked my wife & myself for a night at Mill Hay to escape from the hustle and bustle (and our children in all honesty!) and we had a lobely time. The Hotel was easy to find but was tucked away down a country road with minimal traffic. We spent a fair part of the evening and the morning sat out on our room's balcony just marvelling at the peace and quiet and the view.
Mill Hay was nicely decorated inside and the owners made sure we were comfortable; the room was clean & nicely decorated. Breakfast was very nice and we topped the stay off with a slow walk around the beautiful garden (which I wish we had done sooner). A lovely place and I'm sure we'll be going back!

I feel that this hotel wasn't a hotel at all but a luxury bed and breakfast. The executive room is described to have a kitchenette - it does have a minute fridge and there was no alcohol on offer which you would probably expect when you are told there is a kitchenette. In fact, this hotel didn't have a bar - sorry it wasn't a hotel. The house itself was pretty and some lovely views across it's private garden. It was pleasant to be able to sit on the balcony although the balcony needed sweeping. The bedroom itself was not particularly clean, stained carpets, we found a used tissue under the sheets and when we rang to complain nobody came to deal with out complaint. The loo didn't have a door between it and the bedroom. However, the breakfast was very good but for £129 I would expect more than a good breakfast especially if not I am not staying at the Ritz!!! What a surprise that the AA could have awarded it with 5 stars! No discount or concession was made when we made the complaint even at point of payment.
