Friendly, nice cooked breakfast, can be a little noisy in the front rooms due to traffic on main road. Quite a walk to the nearest pub/restaurant for food. |

Although we had very good service at this accommodation, it was by far the most expensive (almost double) we experienced in our month in Scotland. I guess this was in part because of the location and the time of year, during the festival. |

I stayed here during the Edinburgh Festival and booked at the last minute so choice at the lower end of the price scale was very limited . For the Edinburgh Festival when prices for accomodation tend to be astronomical this was reasonable value for money. I would normally wish to be nearer to the town centre, but the good side of being further out was the free and easy parking - a real plus for Edinburgh - and the town centre was in fact readily accessible by bus. The main downside for me was that the room faced onto a busy main road so was very noisy from fairly early in the morning. Take your own soap as there is none supplied in the room! |

The hotel was relatively easy to find, had good transport links from the city centre taking around 10 mins on regular buses. The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The quality of breakfast was excellent and the room was lovely and very clean. |
