The hotel room was is very good condition and very clean. The rest of the hotel was more like a run down hostel with the reception like a broom cupboard. I was in town for a few drinks with friends and when I got back to the hotel around 1am the front gate of the hotel was locked. I tried and tried to get someone on the buzzer but no one answered and I only managed to get in by sweezing my arm through a hole in the gate and opening the latch... close call, I thought I was going to have to finds another hotel for the night. Would I stay there again.... No !!! |

The hotel had only been open three weeks when we stayed. No kitchen was available, so we were booked for room only, but there are cafes nearby which open early and do good value breakfasts. Small clean room. No facilities, but there is the Eleanor Rigby Bar in the basement. Friendly staff. Very convenient location for central Liverpool. |

The hotel is very conveniently located right in the middle of Liverpool centre. Having said that it meant it was quite noisy even when we got in at 2a.m. but I still managed to sleep. The rooms aren't the biggest but they were comfy and clean. The only thing I would say is ask for a key for the nightgate, we didn't realise you had to, and got a bit of a shock when the door was locked on our return but we could ring them and they came and opened up! |
