First impressions not great and did not meet expectations from description provided; the carpet up the stairs to the room was very dirty, the "home made biscuits" were McVities digestives, the "crisp Ejyptian cotton" was not evident (in fact the quilt cover had definitely seen better times) and there was only one "big fluffy towel" under a pile of thinner, slightly grey ones. All small things but added up to a less than satisfactory impression. The food however was excellent. Breakfast took a while to come - a little frustrating with a meeting to get to, but was worth the wait. Had I been offered some cereals, fruit, fruit juice or similar to occupy me while waiting for the cooked stuff the wait may not have seemed so bad.....! |
