Very quant olde world pub but the rooms have majority of modern convienences. Staff were helpful regarding need for early breakfast - 8am and the food we had on the friday night was certainly well made and presented. The village is lovely to wander around in.

Had a lovely stay at the Fleur de Lys when attending a wedding at the Abbey, which is literally a stones throw away.
The staff were incredibly friendly throughout our whole stay, the food was excellent (from the Lunch Menu) and our room was lovely.
No complaints at all...

Basically an old inn with rooms. Upstairs room (at rear) was a good size and very clean with reasonably sized en-suite but there tends to be a noise from fans and an aroma from the kitchen below.
Food is excellent but one word of warning for the weary business traveller is that they only have one choice of meal on a Monday. It could for examle be sausage and mash or paella but it is good quality. Well kept beer - the Vale Black Swan Mild was excellent
