Directions to Nurses Cottage
From Aylesbury take the A418 to Oxford and take the left turn marked Haddenham at the Bugle Horn. Follow this road for 4 miles until you enter the village, continue on this road past the school on your right, over the mini roundabout, past the shops on your right until you turn left just after the big s-bend and just after the Rising Sun on you right. This is Townside and you will find the property 400 yards down on the right hand side. If you reach the allotments you have travelled too far by 50 yards. From the M40, leave at junction 8 traveling south and junction 7 if traveling north. In both instances follow signs to Thame and then the A418 to Aylesbury. At the top of the hill fork right to Haddenham and drive along this road until you reach the village. You will drive past the railway station on your left, and when you reach Geo Browns Garden Machinery Centre turn right into Wycombe Way, follow this road to its end and turn right into Townside, the property is 50 yards down on the right hand side.

A full length mirror would be a great improvement! |

This is a lovely little cottage in the centre of the beautiful village of Haddenham. The cottage was easy to find (look for number 50 Townside), it was clean and the quick tour upon arrival explained everything we needed to know. My wife was reluctant to get up the next morning as she said the bed was so comfortable. Unfortunately we were only there for 1 night, we would have loved to stay longer but time did not permit. Hopefully we will be able to return for a longer stay next year. |

We only stayed the one night as we were going to a party in the area, but would have been happy to have a short break there. There were very good amenities and the whole cottage was well presented. It would be nice to have a better mirror, possibly a full length one somewhere. |
