We thought that for the money (£70 per night) the quality of the room and service should have been better. The ensuite only had a bath with no shower facility at all and we found 2 pairs of knickers in one of the drawers in the room! |

They stopped serving food at 2.30pm every day, the family room we were given was directly above the bar, kariokie was on Sat and Sunday which meant the room started thumping very loudly at 9pm until at least 1am we had to get moved to a room on the 2nd floor. |

The hotel (pub and night club with rooms upstairs) is very well situated just off the lake shore in Bowness. Access to the shops and pubs in Bowness is excellent. There is off site parking a couple of minutes walk away. Breakfast was good and the staff were helpful and friendly. |
