The 9-storey building was built in 1986 and has a total of 39 singles, 246 doubles and 18 suites. The hotel facilities include a lobby with a 24 hours reception, 3 lifts, a cash machine and a café. Additional facilities include shops, 2 bars, a hairdresser, a games room, an internet access, barbecue during the summer, garden area, pools and an air-conditioned restaurant. Guests can work out in the gym, relax in the spa, they can enjoy the daily entertainment and play tennis, paddle, volley and much more. Children can use the playground, the kids pool and, during the summer, the Mini Club. There is a different show every night and live music.

having read reviews prior to our vacation we did not know what to expect as there were some very negative comments. dont believe everything you read. hotel esmeralda was excellent - ideal location for shops and beach - staff very friendly, polite and helpful - food was very good, something for everyone. overall we could not fault the hotel esmeralda.
